What is Branding?

Branding is a process by which, a product or service, builds a relationship with its customers.

It is like building a relationship with someone… You have to get to know them, they begin to have you think of them in certain ways, you develop your core thoughts about them in a specific way.

In other words it is more than the product or service.

What then, is a brand?

A brand is an intangible asset on a company. It is the summation of the experiences generated by the product it’s self, the way it is packaged, the experience of purchase and use .

A brand is like a person, it has a personality, a set of values and beliefs , and an image / culture it wishes to grow / enhance.
