Who we are. We are Advantages of Age Limited, a limited company registered in England and Wales (from now on “Advantages of Age”, “we”, our or us”). These terms apply to your use of the website located at www.advantagesofage.com and www.startupschoolforseniors.com (from now on, our “website”).

Advantages of Age is an organisation dedicated to addressing anti-age bias. We work with people aged between 50 and 75 through hosting a range of activities and online resources with the aim of building resilience, alleviating loneliness and providing older people with a sense of purpose and belonging. These activities include a business club for over 50s who may be seeking to transition their career as a result of being made unemployed or who need help with their existing business.

2. THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

2.1 What these terms cover. These terms and conditions (from now on, the “terms”):

2.1.1. Set out our rights and obligations and the rights and obligations of those persons that access or use our website, whether as a registered user or a guest (from now on, “you”).

4.1 Your use must be lawful. You confirm and undertake to us that you will not use our website for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms.

5. CREATION OF AN ACCOUNT

5.1 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account credentials and are responsible for all activities that are carried out under them. We do not have the means to check the identities of people using our website and will not be liable where your account credentials are used by someone else.

If we do not insist immediately that you do anything you are required to do under these terms, or if we delay in taking steps against you in respect of your breaking this contract, that will not mean that you do not have to do those things and it will not prevent us taking steps against you at a later date. 

13.6 Which laws apply to this contract and where you may bring legal proceedings. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You and we agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
